Take the most critical parts with you of course!
If your child has come to associate their cozy and comfy sheepskin rug with sleep, that won't change just because you have to travel. Most folks use their sheepskins in the car seat and the stroller anyway. The portable sound machine is smaller than the nursery one and also intended for stroller and car seat use, and the CD of 'now familiar' lullabies can be played softly in the car as well.
It's important of course to try and keep the same sleep schedule, and at the end of your journey, try to reduce as much external stimulation as you can. Is it a perfect solution? Of course not. But if your child has learned to put herself to sleep at home, the fact that so many of her associations are portable will go a long way to making your vacation, or a trip to Grandma's go much more smoothly.
