Kids - with their earthy humor and fascination with bodily functions - adore Walter! Squeeze Walter's belly and you know what happens!
Now I don't know if I would recommend Walter the Farting Dog as a take to bed toy. You know that they'll be making him 'fart,' and giggling mightily way past bedtime.
But on the other hand, can it be such a bad thing to give a toy to a kid that will make him ring out in uncontrollable peals of laughter every time he hears it? Especially as this is one of the most popular 'go to bed' storybooks around?
Our 8 inch long terry cloth covered plush Walter' has a sound box in his belly that you squeeze; and yes, the kids are laughing at Walter - the story really is quite funny you know; but it's the enduring message of unconditional love that makes this 'read it again!' book so popular.
